Brimstone Frosty

The day after Thanksgiving, they started playing ALL Christmas music at work, so a lot of these songs have gotten into my head. Turns out when you listen to them constantly, they get weird. Fast.

Frankly, it's inconsiderate to ask this late

Santa generally seems to run a pretty tight operation, but he really dropped the ball on this one.

(It's funny because it's balls)

Found in the headlines of my BBC news live bookmark. "Shadow home secretary" Ed Balls is the gift that keeps on balling. I mean, giving.

Giving balls.

Let There Be Light

Pictured, from left to right: basil, mint, thai basil, oregano. Not pictured: rosemary, because I have strung it up with Christmas lights.

Today I rigged up a grow light for my various herbs. It snowed for the first time yesterday, and they don't do so well inside over the winter. It's not intended to be a full-time light, but hopefully it will give them a photon boost after the sun goes down at 4 pm.

I'm not sure what it is, but building things feels fantastic, even if it's building things out of PVC pipe.

The Ort-Man

Who is this grizzled, grizzled hero? And why has he never been photographed together with millionaire playboy quarterback Kyle Orton?
